For as long as I’ve had memories, delicious cake has been a major part of all the good times in my life. From the day I was born and every birthday since, to graduations from high school and college or just a yummy way to end a good meal, cake has been the confection of my celebrations.

I started JohnnyCakes of Boston out of a love for quality cakes and a creative spirit.

I was born on Thanksgiving, so my logo colors reflect the autumn leaves, and even my name is inspired by a traditional corn pancake prepared by early New England pilgrims as comfort food.

In addition, many of my family ancestors are pizza makers from New Haven, Connecticut, bread bakers, fishmongers and deli owners. I’ve always had a knack for cooking, and I believe their bloodlines draw me towards the art of baking and experimenting with new and interesting flavors.

I hope that my cake creations bring out the happiness in your celebrations and cause you to reminisce about your childhood.
